$150 for springs and struts install on a solara? Doesn't sound like they have experience on a solara. Lowest price i've seen is around $250. I got mine done at LaScuola Motorworks in Randallstown about a year and a half ago, charged me $310 to install Eibach/Tokico on my 99 solara. Got no problems with it. Check lmsspeed.com

oh wow... well standard of living i guess. no one over there must not of tampered with a solara before. but yes, i find any price above 150 very expensive to do this type of job.

Hey Rizal,
I emailed Jon (JMSinMD) about where he got it done and he emailed me back. Here's the info about where he got it done:

No Limit, Inc
6503 Bel Air Road
Baltimore, MD 21206
Phone: 410-426-7830

He's not sure if they still will have the install at the price he got so just give em a call. He said he paid 157.

Yup, I have seen anywhere around $100-150.
Anything above that, is a rip off.

Thats a very good price

You should look for under $250 Including alignment for both springs and struts is a great price.

At first the guy tried telling me that it would be like $350. So I told him that the most people on the forums were only paying between $150 and $200. He comes back with "Oh yea I forgot we got a special right now $150 if you buy the parts from us $200 you buy the parts from someone else." Then they wanted $125 a peice for the struts. So I just bought the springs from them for $206 and they charged me $175 for the instal. You just can't let these guys try to take advantage of you.

I think I know that place...is that install shop called DTM Motorsport?

The guy who drives the MR2 is Michael Ko...if thats the same guy we are talking about. I'm sure thats who it is cause he's the only one I know in Md. that drives a mean ass MR2! I used to go to that shop back in 97-98. Good to hear that he's still around.

I tried to do a search in yahoo for his shop but I don't think it exists anymore. Did he rename his shop? If so, you guys have that number? I'd rather have my springs and struts installed there if he's charging $150. Plus I know his rep...he knows his Toyotas.
