i think i'm probably just crazy but do the drls affect the brightness of the silverstars? my headlights are not as bright as my fogs.

naw, i think ryan said something about how the 9003/H4 bulbs are slightly more yellow than the 9006 fogs. mainly b/c the 9006 bulbs are a dual filament bulb.

so disconnecting the drl won't help? or getting new ones? they just seem yellower than when i first got them

Wait I think you guys have this confused. The H4 is the 9003. Same thing, they are both dual filament.

The 9006 is just a single filament bulb.

yeah, but the h4 is still brighter. i think h4 was made for the motocycles, tahts why they're a little brighter, but same bulb.

day time running light

Since the silverstar only lasts about 1 year with normal use, wouldn't the headlight die earlier than the fog light?? I am considering just getting the fog light. :-?
