Do these bulbs suck? And also will they fit rightinto the stock headlight unit?

They will fit into the 99-01 headlights with no modifications but they are too high wattage and you run the risk of smoking your headlight harnesses

You can get upgraded wiring harnesses from suvlights.com but its not worth it.

Just get the silverstars

those look just like the ones I bought last year, except they were tinted purple.

Let me put it this way....
I ordered one set, but they messed up and sent me 2 sets (thank god! I needed them)

*I got them around july-ish. August I had an accident and lost the passenger one, but put in and extra one from the shipping mistake.

*2-3months later, the passenger side blew out....replaced it with the second spare.

*Went for an inspection sticker (last month) and found the driver's side blew out.....

So, they're fine, but they'll only last you 2-9months or until your light is smashed in

nothing, the bulbs are just suckee quality. For 20bucks though, it's not like it was a wasted investment. After all, I had them july to april. Yet, a year later, I'm back to stock and going to buy silverstars.

I have an extra set of the Stars. If someone wants to buy. I'll sell'm for cheap money! $25 for the pair/set. Still in "unopened box" :) So if Missay or BlackonBlack want them, let me know.

Do you even need to ask ;)?

i'd PM you, but it's not holding my login

(although, w/ that price, I doubt you still have them!!)

Don't get those

The wattage is way too high. They will cause damage. Try ones that use 55/60 and put out around 110 or so. Try PIAA's or KOBA's.

don't worry..i can take care of him :evilbat:

haha..w/ the way my car eats gas, it would probably cost the price of a set of silverstars to fuel my car to salisbury! (ever wonder why it's "salisbury" when it should be "saulsberry"...haha, random)

Why don't you just search for the SilverStars on EBay, I'm sure you can find a pair for under $30 (unless I get them first :P )
