Hey Scott,
congrats on the supercharger, your gonna love it, back to the topic, on my solara i currently have the s-afc, trd boost gauge(10psi) and autometer air/fuel ratio gauge, but i think the air/fuel ratio gauge doesn't really serve much of a purpose except to look nice. i only got it because i got impatient waiting for an iol pressure gauge, and i was tired of driving around with one gauge on the duel gauge pod. From speaking to people and researching it seems that a boost gauge, EGT gauge, oil pressure gauge, and fuel pressure gauge are the best for monitoring purposes. So any of the previous would be good combinations. About where i mounted my S-AFC, i put that in the sunglass holder on the ceiling, that was the best place that i found for me, and it fits really well, the only modification i had to make was to take a little off of it so all the buttons on the S-AFC were accessible without problem. Well hope this helps

I put my SAFC in my glove boc because I wanted it to be low key. There are pics on the 2nd page of my sounddomain page if you click on the www.

I built a digital boost into my gauge cluster and mounted the SAFC inside the dash behind the glove box to keep it out of sight.

On the gauge covers, yes xXsolaraXx is right. Those where actually for manual and I cut out the PRNDL and the security light with a razor knife.

On the digital gauge. I ordered a digital gauge (round) and sending unit from dakotadigital.com for around $160. Then tore the gauge apart, removed the LCD panel and soldered a 6ft piece of wire to the LCD and to the board so I could remotely mount it. Then I trimmed off some plastic in an unused part of the cluster, cut a hole, made a small coverplate from the old gauge lense and epoxied everything together. Then I heated the black shroud with a heat gun and pressed it on a round wood handle to mold the plastic so you could see the gauge more clearly. I didn't make good contact on the lead for the decimal point so the gauge should say 0.0 instead of 00. It measures in increments of .2lbs and seems to be fairly accurate. With a 4lb pulley and no catback I was seeing up to 4.6lb with a 5.5 and a catback I see 5.6 Overall I reccomend the gauge from dakotadigital but don't reccommend the remote mount unless you are fairly good with a soldering pencil. I'm terrible and it took me many days with lots of frustration to get it even almost right.
