Just wanted to see if anyone has done it at home, and how hard it was.

Search around...you'll find a ton of info. Peter has done it recently and it worked out good for him. Though I believe he said it took him an entire day.

Get a friend to help out. Last time, a friend and I did his Gen4 in about 3.5 hours, but probably another extra 15 minutes to remove the handles, panels, etc. on the Solara. You will also need about $150 (minimium) worth of tools if you don't have any.

never again huh steve, ok you guys are starting to scare me, i just ordered my springs today and got my struts yesterday and i'm planning on installing it myself maybe next week or so, whenever i get strut mounts, and you guys are starting to make me think mor about doing that, oh well, when it's all said and don't i'm sure it'll be well worth the frustration and cuts and bruises that i'm sure i'll aquire, plus saves me 150-200 for other things. By the way i got the diagram from Arief today and man are there a lot of things that have to be removed to take out the seats and panels.
