I was wondering if the two screws on top of the bezel are suppose to be on so tight. I tryed to take them off, but I ended up chipping my craftsman screwdriver! Any suggestions?

get another screwdriver. becareful, dont strip those screws, if you do, then it will be a royal pain in the arse to take them out.

just make sure you are in the grooves and put a good amt of pressure on it. first time is always a b*tch

Should have a lifetime gaurentee on it. Return it. You can easily strip a screw drive if you use the wrong size tip

I too had problems getting those screws out. In the end, I stripped them and never got them out. I hope you dont have the same problem, because I'm now 'royally screwed'

It's not the size of the screwdriver, it's the angle of the dangle.....or something like that.
Those screws are really tight. Try different angles to get the best bite with the screw driver.

angle or not, it should be at 90 degress of the screw. in other words it should be lined up with the screw straight.

yeah, like someone said, make sure you put enough pressure on it and turn slowly.

after the first few times, it's really easy to open. actually, i didn't tighten mine super tight after i opened it, so i don't have any trouble anymore :D

best bet. get a STUBBY RATCHETING screwdriver. it's the only way to ensure the right amount of pressure, rotation, and angle.

return it after your done.
