Radiator Cap Question

Postby TadS » Tue May 27, 2003 8:43 pm

I am going to order a higher PSI radiator cap today and I need to know which one I need for my car. I have the 5S-FE, so I think I need the Type-N. I just want to make sure though as it seems Toyota uses both the Type-S and Type-N depending on the application. Thanks in advance for the info guys.

Either one will work, personally I would go with the lower PSI one (18PSI)

Ok I am going to order the Type-N. It’s 1.3 bars I agree with you Yanks on going with only the mild increase. Anymore more would be overkill, and I would probably blow my hoses :P. Thanks for the information.
