i went to the auto shop to get tokico struts for my solara 2002, but they looked up in the catalog they had and said that they make it only up to the solara 2001. IS the suspension the same for the solara 2002. I checked wit the toyota dealership , they said it was the same , but they said to double check wit the manufature of the tokico struts. doES ANY ONE KNOW IF IT WILL DEFINANTLY FIT THE 2002 VERSION. JUST WANT TO DOUBLE CHECK

Well, its always recommended to get your alignment done after suspension changes, so its probably a good idea. Plus, poor alignment settings can make a big difference. I just had my car aligned because I was getting a lot of road noise..now the noise is almost completely gone and the suspension works much smoother. I swore they must've reduced my tire pressure at the dealership, because the ride was so much smoother and quieter. The Toyota dealership charged $65. Definitely money well spent.

It is a really good idea to get it aligned because lowering it will change the camber and toe both front and rear. I installed adjustment cams to make changing the camber easier on mine.
