just a reminder, fuel is not the only problem dude...

internals (cylinder heads, pistons, rods) is the key to have a motor that can handle high boost.

but what i hear is that our fuel pumps are still good enough, it is the injectors that is the bottleneck. i think SC300 or non-turbo supra fuel injectors are drop in replacements. as for fuel pumps, not too sure, but "Walbro"?? not too sure on that...

I hava a upgrade fuel pump, I bought it from EL. Prototypes, in CA.
After I changed my pulley to a 6PSI, my car was running rich with stock setting on my S-AFC. So all I had to do was lean it out a bit, but I still managed to set off the knock censer. Well I shouldn't say that because I still dont know what's exactly wrong with it. I hear this tinny noise sometimes at high RPM's
Well back to the fuel pump, I paid alot. It was like 400.dollar w/ a 100 core charge. But it just dropped right in, no problem at all.
The problem that I also thought of was, if I want to sell the car without any upgrades I have to buy a stock fuel pump, since I mailed mine back to EL. for the core charge refund.

So does anybody know if an upgraded fuel pump and injectors are necessary for sure? OK, silly question and will definitly vary with which mods are done to the car. See my mods below. I'm getting ready to put the 6psi pulley and S-AFCii on and have it dyno tuned. I'm wondering if I should expect fuel delivery problems and should consider the injectors and/or fuel pump before I go there... OR, at 6psi with modified intake and 3" exhaust am I ok with stock fp and injectors? Thanks -JoeB

Well joe, I didn't have anyother problems w/ fuel after I installed my new pump.
The problem that I ran into is that w/ the 6psi pulley I craked a piston, Allthough I dont have the header yet. but the car eats gas, for me it's like 10 dollars every 2 to 3 days.
