TRD Supercharger for 2004

Does anyone know if the the current supercharger will be compatible with the more powerful 2004 Solara? If not, when will TRD come out with a new version?

Thanks,

The current one will not work. It is a lot more difficult to get a supercharger to work with an engine that has VVTI like the new one. TRD is currently working on a new version, but it could take a while before its actually available

Not only that, the new engine for the Solara will be bigger. I will be 3.3 liter if I remember correctly, instead of the 3.0 liter in the car now. The engine will be the same one that is currently in the Sienna.

it's the same engine as the current except that it has been bored out to 3.3L it's not a true redesign... it's just slightly larger w/ VVT-i.

I thought S/C wouldn't work w/ any sort of variable valve timing... All you have to do is switch the ecu to work w/o the vvt-i and the old s/c should work. -_- but what a waste of vvt-i capable hardware =P
1GR-FE ftw!
