is this any good? or should i get something else?

you get what you pay for...

Injen is the intake most people prefer... if they do use an intake at all.

Most here just use a K&N drop-in "high flow" air filter
1GR-FE ftw!

I used it during winter it works fine.
It just a tube. Just FYI, Intake does not add much HP just the sound.
