give it some time. the engine has to adjust, it takes a couple of key turns and couple of driving cycles before it goes off, but it will eventually. One of my friends who works on Audi's, he told me they take like 40 key turns before the engine light goes off, but the Solara isn't nearly that much.

Did you disconnect the battery? You should do that to reset the ECU.

recheck all your hoses and connections, sounds like you have an air leak

when i put it on my car, i started by disconnecting the battery and let it sit for some 40 mins while i put the intake on. made sure all the hoses were on tight and then pluged it back in. never once did i get the check engine light. i did get it when i put the stock air box back on though. lol
