just ordered a weapon r dragon intake for my 4 banger any of yall have one of those if you do wat do u think about it

Nothing wrong with the weapon R there is no MAF on that engine so it cannot screw up anything there and it may give a little bump in power as the 5sfe is underpowered. Enjoy the intake the sound and small gain should make you happy as a first mod.

Not as far as I know. The 99 4cyl is a 5sfe not a 2az and I know the camry had no MAF on the 98 5s and I think the solara is the same

yup.. no MAF on the 4 banger. i have a 5SFE camry and i could use ANY intake that they supplied for that engine... even the cheap ebay ones.

I have one. I ordered it back in '01, and one of the more enlightened, and respected community members at the time told me how it would screw up my engine, weapon-r is ricey junk blah blah blah. Well it's '09, engine is still going strong 150k miles later. I guess that member was an A-hole retard. Do make sure you maintain that filter properly.

ok with my air intake tube there is this box under the tube connected to it with hoses goin in with 2 wires this is right before the airfilter box does anyone know what that is.

i got a secret weapon intake for my car. i have a 1.5gen solara. i like the sound.. i dont feel any difference because my jpp headers is putting my car in limp mode. but i love the sound.

thats what i m really goin for its my first mod so i really dont care about the power gain as long as it sounds nice lol and i hope the install is easy
