the brakes are awesome. i've worked them a little. still bedding in the pad. the more i drive the better i like them .total cost was around 685.00. i went with the ebc redstuff pads . the ebc pads are 85.00. when i first got the car from frank i thought the brake were real crappy. i drove franks black lara and it's the toyota bracks that are crappy. this bbk is pretty good stuff for the money invested. if you have big bank , the aftermarket offers nice kits for about 1500.00. i think for what your getting with Gabes kit this is a steal.when i track my car on 9-11-09 i will have an update. this is going to be nice. THANKS AGAIN Gabe, I'm loving this stuff. 8)

Im glad your enjoying it.

I see alot of people are going the dual piston caliper route.

I dono if you answered this already, but did you do the rears as well?

haven't done the rears yet. i'd like to put the wagon rotors with the dual piston calibers. i think that would be a good setup for the rears . 8)

wait, didnt the wagon/es300 calipers have only one piston for the rear?

I saw them at ASG14's place, and they are the size of our STOCK fronts....still one piston though.

But I bet its still a huge diffrence over the tiny oem ones.

ya' it's only one piston.but a nice bracket like the front may need to be made to put the dual calipers on the back. i think i'll have to look into it. maybe gabe or adam can look into it to see if it can be done. thier brake kits look good. now if i can get rears with dual calipers , man that would be sweet.

hmm...interesting....id be worried about too much bite on the rear rotors with duals....and lack of weight in the back....but who knows.

with the big rotors on front and the smaller rotors on back might be a good match. if it has too much bite than maybe a brake bais switch may be required. 8)
