I've just ordered the Axis Hagen 19's in Chrome to go on my Black SE V6 Stick - but the problem is I want to put 40 series tires on. I live in Buffalo NY and the roads bite! I know I can fit 235/35/r19's but to get a 40 series in a 19 all I can seem to find is a 245 - I'm really looking for the Toyo T1-S tires - I heard they're by far the nicest riding one out. So the question is: Will 245/40's fit? There's nothing I want more than a 40 series and I really don't forsee the 40 being a problem but 245 might be too wide. Any help? I'm about to spend $3k on wheels - I don't want to bust 'em up too quick. Thanks...

unless you get body work done, there is no way 245 will fit. even if you roll the fenders, unless you are at stock height, the rim/tire may fit, but they will stick out like 1 inch.

plus if you use 40 series with 19's, it will throw off calibration.

dont go for 19's since your roads are bad where you live.

It's an inch taller... you will have strut clearance problem and rubbing problem... way too big and wide.
