Will 18X7.5 with 35mm offset rub?

Hi,
I tried going to dozens of post using the search function but couldnt get a definitive answer

The rims in question are between 7 and 7.5 (closer to 7.5).
The tires on them will be 225/40 18..

will they rub?

And pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is shaving of fenders?

you probably will rub with 225 tires and with a +35 offset.

shaving the fenders is just a simple task where that one gets a dremmer or cutting utensil and pretty much shave the lip there the tire rubs against.
