This is how I wanted to do it too.
Now I plan on selling my other Lara  so I can go bigger boost!
This is exactly what she looked like when I bought her.
I was amazed how clean the engine bay is.

Image

Still have some work ahead of me.
Need to do a Sea Foam app, change plugs n wires after that.
If I can find a CP-E intake for the right price, I'll be going with the tunable version.
Whos the best at rebuilding SC's??? Im talking to you Gabe, Greg, Frank, Bob, Tracy....
Jim's fuel mod, Walbro 190, Supra injectors, SAFC2, What else do I need to go bigger boost???

Thanks!!!
Yep, im gona need some 17" so my BBK will fit.

It also came with the original bill of sale.
In 2000 it was purchased for $22,500

The owner bought the 5 yr 100,000 mile warranty
Then the guy I bought it from put the SC on in 2005.

I also have the book on the TRD SC by Kazuma.

Very nice man. 8)
I just say take that S/C off and install on your car.

Here's a place in OKC that rebuilds S/C's:

PSE Supercharger‎
758 Enterprise Drive
Edmond, OK‎
(405) 844-2773
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.
Top Speed Run finished at 130 mph. :o
Too many modifcations for the signature.

Thanks John, I thought about that.
I just bought this car on thurs and I already feel like the engine in this one is much stronger.
Plus, after I take off my BBK and TRD RSB I can make a better profit by selling my 99 and then start over with the 2000.
Which then I will be able to go bigger boost quicker than I planned.

Thanks bro!!!
There for a while I wasnt sure if I ever was gona get boosted.

GzNutz wrote:Congrats on the great new ride. Can't wait to see what you do to her.

Oh man it feels great, even with only 4 psi.
The first bit of plans only involve the rebuilding of the SC, some engine mods so I can of course go bigger boost, and Im hoping to do a 5MT swap at some point.

someone else that IS boosted would know better than me, but i was under the impression that when your boosted, you get the SAFC to tune with, and at that point the tunable cpe intake is no longer even used. seems like most people are just running an obx or injen intake when boosted.
anyway im happy for you man, hopefully the day will soon come when i get the joy of a supercharged solara.

I love the feeling of stepping on it and letting it whine like crazy! congrats bro! welcome to the boost club :D
So your keepin the black lara and selling your green one? are you moving everything to the black one? suspension or wheels? Tinted tails would look sick on the black one :D

anyways for higher boost you have most of the goodies already in mind
safc or split second (and try to get it tuned right away, you dont want to hurt anything after you slap on a 5-6psi pulley)
3 in exhaust
Jims fuel mod
190 walbro fuel pump
330cc supra injectors
GM knock sensors (just to be on the safe side, i blew mine at 4.5psi)

With the stock motor Lee you will probably end up sticking with 6-7 psi. and make sure you meth inject it.
Run 94+ octane.

Let us know how the modding journey goes keep us posted on everything you do. Im excited to see what you to her. Good luck, all this your getting into is all the fun part :D

Oh man I really do.
...but no can do right now untill I sell the green one.
I've read a lot of good stuff about DAT's remodified Y-Pipe.
Our OEM Y-Pipe is crap compared to DAT's.
