looks great!

just few suggestions
i think you should do black housing headlights...smoke the fogs and tails
and paint the chrome trim around the doors flat black or just black

oh and be careful driving at night...flat black makes your car nearly invisible
which is why i believe this color is illegal in some states

Tee hee. You warn him it's dangerous to drive at night with a matte black car, then encourage him to tint his tail lights and make his car even more invisible. You silly rabbit! :P

Just remove your muffler. People won't be able to see you, but at least they'll hear you! :drinking:

Nice. If i had the money/patience, I'd wrap my car a different color just for kicks.

How did the 25 yards work out for ya? Did it come out to around how much you needed?

I'm checking out the Oracle website right now for info on their material. THanks to Kenny for posting that you used Oracal 970RA.

This is a great thread. Thanks so much for posting about your vinyl wrapping project!

25 Yards was more then enough. Gave me enought to redo some parts and patch up others. Note the Oracal 970RA comes in 60" width while most come in a 48".

I've been driving my 93 Miata for two weeks while working on this project, so I got use to driving a small car that I could wip around corners. I took a sharp corner and clipped the sidewalk.... I'll have to cut it out and patch it.

On the bright side, you don't have to chuck $200 to get it repainted. You can do it yourself for free! That's an awesome benefit.

In general it's held up perfectly so far. I've never had a black so I'm not use to it looking dirty all the time. So I'm washing it quite a bit (soap& water. Dry with microfiber cloth per care instructions). Last weekend I tried to go up a steep driveway and it ripped the bottom up my front lip and part if the side skirt. I'll patch it up this weekend.

It's definitely getting a lot more attention :) ... From cops also. I put a smoked license plate cover on the front. I'm waiting to see how long I can get away with it.

i'm envious that when something happens to your car you can just say "i'll patch it up later". Wish I could say that for all the dings and scratches on my car.
