Good question. I was wondering that myself because i couldnt see drilling holes in the kit to attach a grill, plus i didnt notice anyone else doing it like that. The guy who did my paint job actually did it for me. what he did was glob on some fiberglass to the back of (inside) of the kit (like a big glob of chewed bubble gum) then he ran wire through the glob before it dried. did that all around the openings. he was able to twist the wires through the mesh to hold it in place. I've worked with fiberglass a little and am not sure if i could do what he did. He also used a thing Hexogram mesh that was very plyable, unlike the regular mesh, which is just drywall mesh with a finish on it. hope that helps

Do you really think it's worth it spending the equivalent of the value of your car just on paint?

if its not worth painting it right, might as well sell the kit. "Rice-Burners" are out of style with the exception of true enthusisest that still participate in car shows, so if you're gonna rice the car up...do it right where you can have fun winning shows. If you just want to drive around looking sharp...sell the kit, get the TRD kit...and go to Maco.

shouldnt look at the car as an investment (ie. not investing more money in it that its worth). If the car might only last you a few years...dont spend any money on it. If you think its got pleanty of life left...go all out!
