Ok guys Trent has now captured the top Dyno spot with his 411whp 481tq dyno pull on his twin turbo and s/c Solara! Previous Record held by Rizal with his 395whp 445tq single turbo solara. We have a couple members that are in the running, Frank, Greg, Fergi, Bob, akfahad. Who next to capture the top spot? What will it take to surpass trents numbers? Frank jetbtkng has expressed interest in this kit. He has a built motor with ported heads. I think the MP90 kit alone with enough meth might be able to hit 400+whp with no intercooler. I need to do more testing to confirm though. If not I also will be releasing intercooled versions of my blower kit. I have M112 and m122 upgrades kits available as well. Will members keep pushing this platform untill we see a bunch of 500whp Solaras on this board? I dont want this platform to die out guys. We have tons of potnetial with these cars.

You forgot Tony The Tiger.

Now that theres potential to build a high powered Camry/Solara, it'd be great if you can work on an AWD option since you're already offering built motors to go along with these blowers, which is pretty much a must have.

This is just phenomenal execution and achievement, Gabe! You "niche" guys continue to amaze us all with your innovation and persistence... all marking the never-ending pursuit of EXCESSOLARA!!! :o

Just want to extend a huge *GOLFCLAP* to the effort and adventure that you continue to share with the "rest" of us. Hmmm... maybe once I no longer feel like I HAVE to keep the 'lara "mild" for turn-key daily-driving ONLY duties, I'll start "needing" one of these MP thingies too? 8)

Keep up the good work! Those are just staggering numbers for this platform!

Indeed, I stand corrected lol. On the other hand Tony does have a 1MZ & his Camry looks official. But anyway, Solara all the way!!!

Crisp you just made my day! Thanks man. Makes me feel 1000 times better after having lots of people say "why a solara" over the years. I promise you the #'s this car are just a starting point. Car is built tough and will LOVE another 6-7lbs of boost maybe more. Mulitple kills so far, 40-140mph rolls walking on a new Camaro SS, TT RHD rx7, 3000gt vr4, 90 supra with 1jzgte r154 BPU, and more. In a SOLARA GUYS! These cars have a strong OEM transmission and only weigh roughly 3200lbs,after pistons and rods the engine are very stout!

LOL glad im on this list and now that this place has become a little better with more modding from certain memebers going on, my solara will finally be receiving 6 psi of boost with my current set up lol. Nothing compared to Trent's but ehhh improvement is always better.

But im not stoping there. Meth headers and bigger injectors will be on with 8 psi. and a few more goodies i have in mind. :evilbat:

Good stuff Gabe! :)

Honestly Gabe, I'd have NEVER suspected that the Solara was such a solid engineered platform FOR MODDING to this extent! I bought mine because... well... FIRST, it's a TOYOTA! Second, it has NICE (I didn't say "great" or "awesome" or "POPULAR TO ALL COMERS") styling that I LIKE for the class it delivers, the practicality of being "relatively" family oriented (especially in MY case, with "other" toys that are performance directed and LIMITED in family function!) and rock-solid reliable. It is also a VERY NICE (This time, I DO mean GREAT) interior styling and the ergonomics (typical Toyota) suit me just about PERFECTLY for long drives and short alike.

At any rate... mine was a LEASE for the first few years, and I did NOTHING to it until around 50k miles. Now, over 75k ADDITIONAL miles into it's "phase II" life, it's PAID FOR and STILL clean, mean and runs STRONG with ALL the initial creature comforts PLUS a killer audio system and decent handling. Now... some FORCED INDUCTION and a SUPER-SLEEPER-SOLARA motif and I'd REALLY be styling!

I wish I were more familiar with all the "technical" efforts that go into these builds, as the Supra community is FULL of those stories... complete with pictures and ALL MANNER of arriving at ALL LEVELS of heightened performance... but what YOU and the rest of the 1MZ crowd are doing is "final frontier" stuff. Stuff of DREAMS, not copy-cat DIY off-the-shelf BOLT-ON performance. It's really good mechanics and engineering of the "supplemental" systems AND core related platform enhancements that enable such upgrades to be effectively applied. Being in R&D/Testing/Prototyping/Development among other fields myself, I can tell you I UNDERSTAND what it takes to do what you guys are doing, and it's definitely worthy of a few accolades from me, WE... the peanut gallery!

...besides... KILLS like YOU have begun to rack up are REALLY what the "sleeper" theme is all about! And I LOVE the SLEEPER KILL!

Keep it up! :wnw:
