SAFC wiring vs SAFCII wiring

Postby SolaraPete » Fri Oct 21, 2011 1:17 pm

Trying to verify if the wiring diagram in the Tutuorials section for the SAFCII will be the same for the SAFC (buttons, no knob). From what i've found, supposedly the only difference is that the SAFCII has a knock wire. Can anyone verify if thats correct??

Thanks in advance guys..

I would say they're pretty much identical. I went from the SAFCII to the Neo and everything was pretty much the same, except they did without the knock wiring. I'd say you'd be alright following the tutorial.

Well 6mos later i finally got around to installing it - and the wiring was exactly the same, minus the 2 knock sensor wires.

Heres a pic of the final result. The ashtray (i use it as a coin holder) is still fully functional, there's plenty of room to run the wire underneath it.

Hopefully this motivates me to put on the new pulley, injectors, plugs & wires, and fuel pump so i can actually USE the SAFC lol!!!
