New wheels for the whip!

New wheels for the whip!

I just picked these up this week for my powder coater. They were originally a set of bent IS300 wheels I picked up for a mere 100 bucks. I had my powder coating done at Custom Functionz in White Plains, MD. Sean, the powder coater did a amazing job at an amazing price. I only paid 375 for the single stage powder coat. I was gonna get two coats but it came out so good, I used the other money I already paid towards some ceramic coating. All in all I paid about 1100 bucks for these wheels with tires. Most of the money was spent on straightening the wheels and powder coating. I paid $400 for 4 Nitto Neo Gen tires in the 225/45r17 flavor.

Here is a pic:

Here is my powder coater's website:

one other quick thing to note about my powder coater is he does it the right way and you can beat this with a hammer if you wanted to. Also he now has a freshly wired hydro dipping machine. I will be posting some new photos on the ride soon as soon as the weather gets nicer and the powder coated big brake kit get back.

are you going to need spacers for the fronts? I think the offset on those is like 50?

I AM RUNNING ON OF GABE'S BIG BRAKE KITS WHICH REQUIRE A +40 OFFSET OR LOWER, SO I BOUGHT TWO SETS OF SPACERS FROM H&R TRAK+ 10MM SPACERS. THEY COME WITH EXTENDED WHEEL STUDS. WITH THESE SPACERS I WILL BE ABLE TO RUN THE BRAKES AND IT WILL STILL LOOK GOOD.
