Independent Fogs (not repeat questions)

Independent Fogs (not repeat questions)

LOL I'm sure this looks to be a repeat thread, but I have already read this sight for nearly 3 years (as long as I've owned my lara) so I know all about the DIY thread for independent fogs, but I had some questions I haven't found the answers to. Opinions mostly. I was curious how many of ya'll did the splice into the DRL's like the DIY shows, (if I remember correctly) and if any of you guys did a different setup to accomplish the same goal? My roommate suggested installing a new separate switch for my fogs and disabling the current switch. Was curious if this would be an easier/better option or if any body has done something like this, or something different then the DIY on Solaraguy. Thanks for your responses!!! :D

LOL thats what I'm asking. I've heard of people doing it different ways. I figured the splice option was the best, but wanted to see what others had success with, and what would be easiest in others opinions. lol, do either of you have this mod completed?

I wouldn't want to give up my nice stock switch in favor of some other junk that looks out of place. If you follow the tutorial, you'll be glad you did it that way instead.
