Why would there be a tutorial to retrofit projectors in an IS300 on a Toyota camry/solara forum?

I think he means fitting the is300 projector in his car.

Long answer
OP, that's a pretty specific topic...searching "is300" would have given you all 749 posts related to it. And then searching "projector" would have narrowed it down to the other 3 posts (4 including yours)

short answer. No

The whole Fog light housing that I have is custom made by Vik (Dawgz ). This mod is a one of a kind.
Putting projectors in does require having clear lens. The lens are Lexan plexiglass that is thicker and stronger. The projectors he use are from an is300/es300. This is his thread explaining the build. So, if you have any questions regarding them I would pm him.

This one when he added the LED Strip.

Overall all that hard work and credit goes to him. It's sad that he had to part out but, now it's at a good home. I did install HID 3k bulbs in the projectors since I had the extra ballast mounted there from the old fog lights. So, might as well. I know he said that it will take away the overall look with the LED but, guess what. The projectors just aims over them still making the LED visible and light output is great no glare what so ever. It also gives a deep rich yellow tone on the fog lights that everyone wants.

Oh...I totally interpreted that wrong then. Sorry bout that lol

Solarasian, I think my headlights + Wiley's fogs on any lara would look absolutely killer. Plus the fact that those fogs are yellow, makes them perfect.

Those are custom vacuum formed shrounds. I bought them from CamryOnBronze. The bezels are just pieces of metal that are supposed to be used for plumming.
