well one head is almost done as far as porting goes. Tonight ill be going to throw on my quick release steering wheel set up and i wont be going back till saturday

Ill be replacing the boots on my axles and pressure washing the engine bay, also throwing on my 24mm whiteline front sway bar.

I have some goodies coming in soon a new stage 3 clutch and a little tiny mod called nitrous :)

So quick release is on, boots are replaced on my axles, stage 3 clutch should be in tomorrow, but this past saturday i worked on a fellow members solara

Been gone for a while but work has been slowing down a bit but its still going i guess you can say

The block is complete heads are one, almost every other accesory is on the block, im still waiting on a timing belt pulley, and thermostat from the dealer, im picking up denso iridium plugs from greg tonight. This week is being dedicated to the car because by this satruday if all goes to plan it will be dropped back in the car. and hopefully it will get started for the first time in a year.

Ill keep you guys updated.

The NRG setup looks awesome, I have been thinking about doing that but worried about how it would look but that looks hella good! Nice job :D

i was a bit scared when i bought everything too. I didnt know if it would look good, but i proved myself wrong lol. I love the look of a clean wheel on our solaras. Gives it a whole new look inside

What clutch did you decide to go with? I recently acquired a wrecked '99 v6 5 speed. Too bad you all are too far away from me.

Which southbend tz clutch are you guys using? I am going to do the swap this summer but I can't find one listed for the solara...or the camry for that matter. Got a part number?

Hey everyone, Thanks for the comments. The clutch i actually got a cheap A$$ clutch to get me on the road for now i went with a F1 stage 3 6 puck. When i up the boost to 11 lbs on nitrous ill get something stronger and better


A small update tho.
Engine is in. :)

I missed out on working on my car yesterday since a good buddy of mine passed away because of a motorcylce accident, i probably wont be working on my car friday either since his viewing is friday night.

Tonight im going to route and wire the harness. then comes the fun stuff. tranny linkage, power steering crap, and hooking everything up -_-
