Hey guys I need help on Fitting 18x10 wheels on the rear... has anyone done this??

My bf keeps talking me into putting some of his many set of rims on my car lol

The front are 18x9 thinking on using 225/40/18 and rear 18x10 245/35/18 ? Bf says they should fit and that tire combo should be fine.... I just want to ask the Experts first before I buy the tires... (he says my car looks gay 20s) =( can anybody help please! !!??

The options on rims he is letting me have are SALEEN style all black or FR500 black polish lip... I want something with a deep dish....

i like the black deep dish, anyways thats one sexy ass cobra! always loved them. :)

ok back on subject. 18x10 ehhhhhh not as easy as it sounds. are you dropped if so on what if its regular struts and springs they most likely will not fit. Another important question is, what the offset on the wheels? the front you shouldnt have a major issue fitting the rear gets a little tricky. 18x10 with a high offset will rub on your struts, and you will need spacers at this point if you put spacers the wheel is going to poke a massive amount and then you will need to get body work done to pull your rear quarter panels.

My word of advice is a 10 in wheel will most likely not fit and if you put spacers your going to have that mexi flush thing going on. The only way it would look decent if you do go with spacers is if you get yourself coilovers with a camber kit that way you have some adjustment to keep the wheels inside but if your not into camber and lowering your car too much then that size wheel would be out of the question.

Even an 18x9.5 needs body work done. Im going with 9.5 in the rear and im preparing myself to pull my quarter panels that way i dont have to run that much or no camber.

This sums it up.

It can be done but you're gonna need to do some work.

correct me if i'm wrong, but the bolt pattern is different too...unless you plan on running a wheel adapter in lue of a wheel spacer.

It's 5x114.3 in the screen caps she posted, so it's fine in that regard.
