Hey Scott, how does the noise level of the JPP exhaust compare to the Greddy? Is the JPP any louder?

concernig the tint:

i initially spent 235 to get the sides 30% and the back 15%
then, i had the 30% on the sides ripped off and 15% put on to match: 80
last, i had the windshield tinted for 100 buck even

Well, not necessarily; That was one of the first mods I ever had done (early 1999) and I wanted the dealer's warranty since I was screwing around with a brand new car's suspension. Turned out to be a good thing, as Toyota ended up buying me a completely new set of struts and paying for the subsequent removal/installation at their expense. *Plus* they ended up dismantling the suspension twice more to install the modified bump stops/strut tower caps in order to stop the infamous knocking sound. If I hadn't gone through the dealer, I would have had to eat the cost of essentially two complete removal/installations, two partial disassemblies, and the cost of the newer redesigned Bilstein struts, as well as multiple realignments. Remember, this was before there were other options available- it was TRD or nothing. Also, $800 might be just a little high- that was one of the receipts I couldn't find, so I was going off of a five year old memory.

So in retrospect, the $800 was money well spent. R.

PS. That also included installing the quick shifter; they threw that in gratis on the second install as payment for my "inconvience"- I forgot to mention that. R.

First time I added the receipts- Ouch! But at least it makes *you* feel good.

So it looks like I'm keeping the toy.

Also, we'll have to talk about your return fuel system. That's something I might be interested in. R.
