Sylvania 2721 bulbs...in colors! and LEDS!

I've been getting ready to make my dash lights and all the other lights in my instrumentation blue. I've been looking for Osran\Sylvania European No. 2721 in clear and I was gonna just use the sharpie trick. But since then, I've found a site that sells those bulbs and in colors too. It's not that expensive at all. So I hope this helped anyone out. These 2721 bubls are in alot of things like our HVAC, certain places in the gauge cluster, the shifter on an automatic transmission and in the ignition light. On this site, they are listed as #74. They are the same bulbs and will work. Hope I helped anyone out!

thanks for that site, im definitely gonna order my red bulbs instead of sharpie markering my old bulbs

heh heh....I'm prolly the only one who can admit to being quite ghetto and possibly even 'rice'...me and my altezzas with sharpie colored interior bulbs and red accented interior and all....it's all good!

do0d... you saved money compared to buying them bulbs at 2.50 ea!! Its for the better... like saving for your struts and springs!!!

I'm waiting on some 194s that I ordered from ebay ($8 for 10 of them) and then I'll do it all up and post some pics.

theres nothing wrong with using a sharpie..in the old days./.people used to use hobby paint for the bulbs..so...

Anybody know if these:

Will fit in the front dome light (The reading lamp by the sunroof switch)? The bulbs look different, but they're 1.75 inches...I'd hate to have to get upgraded red bulbs...and then one sharpie colored dome light...I don't know the bulb number for that one..?

yea what size is it and has anyone ordered from ths site before? since my dash is all out right now i was tihnking bout changing all the bulbs...

They are 194s and 74s. The main cluster uses 194s for its main lights. There are 5 or 6 of them (194s) total. Not sure on the dome light though.

i can't belive myself orderd 50 bucks from that website just for bulbs!!

i brought like 30 # 74 bulbs...well for 2 cars...

The main cluster has 5 bulbs in size 194... red is great... be careful with blue... lots of companies has different tints of blue and MOST of them look crappy... theres a bunch of little bulbs (warning lights below the cluster)... think those are the 2721s... the key ignition is 2721 as well...

I forgot about the AC control area :roll:
