Tein SS v JIC FLT-A2
Tein SS rides smoother, has less road noise, handles about the same and costs $500 less than the JIC set up (MSRP prices, street price... i dunno)
I wrote a long review comparing these 2 and the Eibach/Tokico setup and the Tein/Tokico set up but the stupid post errored and once I pressed "BACK"... it was gone! I got pissed so I'm not gonna rewrite the damn thing!
Tein settings: (Riding on 18x8)
Drop: 1 finger front/back clearance from tire
Damper Force: Softest setting (0)
MSRP: 1350
JIC settings: (Riding on 19x8.5)
Drop: 1 finger front / 1.5 finger back ?
Damper Force: Softest setting (0)
MSRP: 1800
The Tein SS feels smoother than stock while the JIC makes you feel all the bumps (although he said it's on the softest setting). The road noise is about the same w/ Tein while the JIC increases it. You only hear the hard bumps/potholes w/ the Tein. The JIC lets you feel most of it. The handling is about the same. The Tein has 16 levels of adjustability while the JIC only has 15 (big deal... I'm sure they are similar).
