No need. I'd just keep with the factory rated thermostat. There's a reason Toyota used it, which is the same reason you should use it too.

Agreed. Unless you are having serious cooling problems, which I don't know of anywho who has had, there is no reason to change the thermostat.

I had a little problem with cooling (boil-off), but I swapped for a higher-pressure radiator cap and that seems fixed the problem. As for a thermostat, like said, seems like a bit of overkill man. I would just save money for the good mods :). I mean that's almost enough money for brake pads, or a RSB, or a FSB, or some SSB lines, or a couch dance or two. :)
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

if your car really is running too hot, try red line water wetter. It helped a lot for my friend's firebird
