I have a similar problem in that when I floor it my CD player sometimes starts skipping and then I let off and it stops...so yeah what's the deal? :o

really doubt it, if your battery cable was loose your whole car would turn off when you floored it. Its probably a loose power connection or ground wire on the back of your deck.
Nascar would be a sport if half the cars were driving the other direction.

Just remove the ashtray and then but pull the bezel and then work from there (ie. to gain access to the deck)...Just reconnect all the connections and see if that helps!

I got a 10 guage wire directly connected to my headunit's 14 gauge. Recomended by Alpine to get the full effect of the internal vdrive amp 60wx4 hehe so try that too if other things don't work. Your engine wants alot of power when you floor it so a better power flow can help. Especialy since your boosted and have another amps.
