i wanted some mille miglia evo5s, which cost approximately 1250 for wheels and tires and shipping off of tirerack. my friend says he can get me replica evo5s for approximately 800 for rims and tires (no shipping), and im thinkin about going for it since im a poor college student. what do you guys kno about replica rims? bad idea or good savings?

celica.net got a few celicas with lookalike or knockoff wheels here and there. from what i've heard they are mostly of good quality. As long as the rubber is good..then you shouldn't have problems. I'd go for it...WHats going on harry..you all of sudden looking for kit, suspesion...wheels..Hit the lottto?? (then share the wealth :D )

haha no, i wish, i just finally got the go-ahead from my parents to sell my baby and get a v6 5 speed (as soon as i find one). and ive been savin up for a while, so as soon as i get it its gonna be pimped out!! 8)
