do u hook a laptop or computer up to that to program that? Also do u think install and setup would be that hard to do it yourself?

Nope, no computer required. I guess you could do it yourself if you want to. I'll have done at the speed shop.

hey guys, I've checked the links, read the descriptions, but I'm still not sure what this does, mind breaking it down to a 3rd level iq? does it increase HP? (i'm assuming it does) and what else does this thing do? thanks!

gives more spark for the spark plugs... makes sure that all the gas put into the cylinder gets burnt.. also instead of one spark per cylinder, it has "multi" sparks

Does it pretty much do what my plasma booster does? Or is it different.

does more.. for a S\c engine it would be awesome.. when the S\C is boosting there is the potential for the spark to be blown out by the spirling wind that the S\c creates.. this MSD ignition would ensure that the spark isn't blown out too much and that the gas gets ignited and makes sure u get the power u want... A plasma booster just boosts the energy going to the spark plug, while the ignition actually has a multi spark so that it sparks more than once rather than once per rep
Its a very good thing... a good ignition setup on a boosted car could add more than 10 horse easily
