Does anyone have a detailed guide on installing an ignition kill switch on a Solara? I want pictures and step by step instructions.

Here's a better idea. Instead of a kill switch, figure out a way to wire up a few MACE or pepper spray cans in the dash. I'm gonna do this as soon as I get some $$ for the cans. I'd pay ppl to steal my car then!

Thought about that too. I can just setup some switches anywhere under the car. And a cap or 2 for electrical backup for security and other electronics. I locked my keys in the car a week ago. I left the sunroof cracked a bit and used a broom and a thick wire to pull the keys out of the ignition and out through the sunroof! I will be installing a door unlock switch outside soon too. Don't want to do that again.

kill switch=starter kill/starter kill chip

just wire up a starter kill chip. it's damn easy to do. it interfaces with the starter wire; all connections are made in the ignition harness.

Sure does beat kicking myself in the ass on that rare occaision that I lock the keys in the car! Only thing if someone sees me using it, I'm gonna have to relocate the switch. But then once I get an alarm installed once again, I'll need to install a switch for that instead.

I am having a kill switch installed. It is part of my MSD DIS4 ignition install. The instruction for installing the switch are part of the wiring diagrams provided from MSD.

How about a taser mounted in the driver seat, right under the grundle.
