our cars take 5*114.5 right? well thas what i thought the evo5s were, but this guy selling them to me says his are 5*100. will a manufacturer make two different bolt patterns for the same wheel? is there any way to change it to make it fit on the solara? im really confused.

yes some manufactures will make diff bolt patterns so they can fit diff cars..

but you should never modify any wheels bolt pattern just to fit your car.. Your wheels are the only thing touching the ground...

buy something that fits right in with no modifications...5x114.3(4.5) is the right bolt pattern...

Just wanted to point out what iazuncupidi said quietly in his post. the 5x114.3 mm bolt size is ALSO 5x4.5 inch.

hmm...

is this wheel a strict 114.3 or 100? some wheels are universal.

Universal means it has fittings for all 5 lug bolt patterns within the wheel. I have that universal your talking about. . .but have it on the 114.3 setting
