I got my SAFC tuned today and was disappointed with the results. I baselined at 200 hp and 197 tq. I was told it was running rich. After the tuning was finished my final numbers was a increase of 8.9 hp and 7.3 tq.
I am running stock boost with JP y pipe, tanabe catback and stock airbox.

I went to RD Dyno were they use a Dynojet Model 248 C Dynamometer. I know different dynos will give different readings but I thought my numbers were kinda low. Anyone get their readings on the same type of dyno??

Thanks
Bryan

get a CAI or K&N drop in filter.

there's a blockage right there.

that's not a bad outcome.

dont look at the SAFC for HP/Trq gains. its there to prevent knock and damage to the engine. on the plus some folks gain some hiding ponies in the process.

That sounds almost normal for your mods. I have a S/C(4psi) 99 V6 A/T with Apexi WS, CAI, plasma booster, ground wires, And a safc2. I dyno'd at 206. So your numbers with a M/T and a y-pipe should be almost 10hp or so above mine. Try getting a plasma booster. My acceleration was smoother, and idle was like stock. The CAI will definately help that S/C out a lot. You'll hear it whining much better too under full throttle. Try the ground wires. People say they don't do anything, but I took the advice of the guy that tuned my car, after doing a quick dyno run he said I could probably get a little more power with some ground wires, and he squeezed out 16 ponies w/Safc tuning and adding wires that I bought later that day.
Here's a link for info and pics of my 1999 Camry:
