I think it is quite interesting....
However, i had been adivced that JDM OEM toyota filter is the best (made by Denso) and so does Honda's OEM filter

OIL FILTERS

Postby roger182nd » Wed Jan 23, 2008 7:07 am

I use the purolator pure one's. But since I have the 2002 solara with the V6, I use the taller oil filter. Why? (1) because it holds more oil. (2) More external surface area equals more efficent oil cooling. (3) a taller filter has more filter media inside.
I also took a BMW heat sink and placed it on the oil filter to disapate more heat.

This is very interesting, but it never says which is the best and which is the worst.
It just tells you all about each filter.

I wanna know which is the best.

I've always used the K&N. I figured they make the best air filter, they should probably make the best oil filter. Well, the article tell me tha Champion actually makes the filter for K&N.

Damn outsourcing!!!!
Thats like letting Ford make some Toyotas.

Well, I'll stick with the K&N oil filter. I'm a creature of habit and I go with what I know.
