Auto window up

Postby SleeperSolara » Mon Jul 25, 2005 3:52 pm

Well i'm not sure
That DIY was for an MR2 so i thought it would work.
It should work if someone put the time into it.

Well, I highly doubt the MR2 had any auto window features. That's why I think it could work.

I was in a 4Runner Limited and it had the auto up and down and the switches look just like ours so I was thinking you could just put the switch in.

I think the auto-up feature would need a special door control module and maybe a unique switch. Michaels alarm basically acts as the module, which is a cool a$$ feature.

My buddies MarkIV GTI has auto-up, I want it...

OOUCH...toyota options (when choosen) have always included drivers side autodown. Celica's got em since gen 4, mr2's from gen 2, camry's from gen 2's....Unless your talking early early 80's then its a different issue!

It was a DEI auto up and down relay.

I really mean auto up. Toyota may have some now, but Lexus has been the only cars I've seen with it. To me, if you got power windows, auto down should be standard.

LoL, wow this is an old thread....

But to answer your question, the best way to have that feature added to your car is to use the DEI 530T.
