thx for the advice! im gonna be doing this this sunday. I hope i will get some nice clear headlights afterwards. Im gonna post some before/after pics

Sure... Also a few posts before this I also mentioned you can use metal polish, apply it the same way you do waxing since the first method didn't work TOO well for me.

Just bought some new floor mats, and when I was at the dealership, they had a product specifically for this. Don't know the name, or if it works, but if Toyota is selling it...must have SOME merit.

I went to toyota and they said that they dont sell this, but they could restor my headlights for 30$
so i went to Walmart and found something called PlastX by Mguair 8$

I tried it out and I am shocked :o at the results... my headlights are cristal clear! I even did my fog lights and they look amazing. 8)
All i had to do is to scrub them with a normal sponge and thats it!

it's really not that hard though....the write up should be sufficient.

really, the pics were mostly before and after shots, if i recall correctly.

remove light housing from car (be it headlight or foglight)

use high grit sand paper (or wet sand-paper) w/ soaps water

sand/buff in small circles, using lots of water (to wash off the ground-down plastic)

when lens is clear, coat/cover the lens w/ some sort of treatment (meguire's plastix, caruba wax, tint film, etc)

easy
