ACIS power mod.

Hey everyone, after a couple of days of researching i found a mod we can do to the acis system. The acis is a butterfly valve that opens around 3700 and you feel a little kick around that but what you dont know is that you loose around 10hp before it opens. Here is the graph http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showpos ... ostcount=4 i have to give credit to some of the guys on clublexus. What you want to do is shut the valve at all rpms.
Steps
1. Take the black engine cover off.
2. Look at the acis valve and follow the vac line to where it goes under the cover.
3. Look under your battery and you will see the vac cannister with two vac lines going to it, follow the vac line thats closeset to the front of the car and follow it up to where it connects under the black cover.
4. You will see that it connects to a small metal pipe that goes all the way to the left. At the end you will see a small vac line that goes from that rod to a plastic piece, that has a wiring harness that goes into it. Disconnect that small vac line.
5. Now take the vac line that goes from acis valve and disconnect it from the plastic piece and connect it to the metal rod instead of the small vac line.
To test just start the car and see if the vac line sucked the valve towards the yellow screw.
You are done if you find this confusing ill take pics tommorrow and post it.
I found that i didnt loose any low end and the car accelerated faster, it also sounded meaner.
