FOLLOW UP to Flash's tutorial w pics..see below..............

SOMEONE ASKED SO I JUST COPY -PASTED FOR EVeRYONE ELSE WHO MAY BE INTERSTED.

DONT DO THE DIY CORNERS JUST BUY THEM..THIS TUTORIAL IS ONLY FOR THE HEADLIGHTS with out touching the front clear plastic...

it took me a whole weekeds so plan and prep ahead..use a shirt and pants youre gonna throw away...and have a work area close to the oven ie dining table..
i baked each headlight about 15 min in preheted 325 deg oven
use a towel when you take it out very hot pull apart immedially and start scraping off the sealant with flat screw driver gonna be really really stick and messy like venom from spiderman 3 lol youl know what i mean..
pop out the chrome frame piece carefully sand it down with 800 grit and spray w the high heat 1200 degree paint i used falt black but i recomend glossy finish.
do the same to both sides use clear sealant from auto parts store in the painting section...make sure to buy paint thinner to wipe it off when you mess up..dont use grey or black it will make it all look messy...clear i used one tube for both
i used this link its very detailed. very good tutorial ..GOOD LUCK.

so wait - is it illegal to black out the lights as long as the light output isnt changed?? or does blackin out the chrome frame change the light output?

blacking out the front of the head light will def diminish light out put therefore safety= ticket plus it easy to spot by the popos.

what i did and also crazyazn was open the headlight pop out the chred oem reflectos and sad/spray those black. which gives an blacked-out illusion" put still enough light out put to see at night...

Mr chunks probably has the best black out because of the custom HIDs thats the better way to go but only if you have deep pockets.
