I don't think that sensor should interfear with the interface since the readings taken are from the MAF for the airflow

Now if you're going to tune this yourself, you may want to invest in a wideband o2 sensor system like i'm getting with my LM-1 Preferably with datalogging.

You Should be fine :D

Perfect man, I was searching around to find the link I was going to pass on to fellow SG Derrick (SdeA) regarding this, and was sad to not find it in tutorials.

Hey question, so I kno what these do, but would there be any gains or like even help anything at all on a n/a 1mz with just simple injen sri, catback exhaust.. ? I've mostly read how great these help boosted people. I'm too broke for that lol

u dont really need it. on a non boosted 1mz, the ecu should take care of minor things like that.

i was surprised to see a connection for knock sensor to the safc2. my plain oldschool safc doesn't have that connection, or if it does, there's nothing documented about it. what do you folks know about that? all i know is right now i'm doing the jumper trick to use the one remaining good sensor to feed both pins on the ecu. and i think it could be a lot better than it is.

but hey, check out my custom DIY mounting!

Hey,
I have the CPE intake and the pink (MAF) wire is cut. How do i splice the SAFC wire? ecu or engine side?

second,
I have the knock sensor jump thing, so two of the clear wires are joined.. How do I wire that one?

Thanks
