I did this about 2 years ago, I'll try to explain it best I can.
You'll need a blowdryer, flathead screw driver, needlenose pliers and silicone sealant. This is for a 99 solara, dunno if it's the same for other years.

SammySolara posted a link that tells you how to take out the lense.
Once you get it out, use the blow dryer on the black rubber lining at the end of where the amber piece is. Carefully peel off the lining to the point where the amber piece ends. (You can take the whole lining off, it'll make it easier to take the amber piece out but takes more time. I didn't take the whole thing off, so don't come to me if something goes wrong)

Now use the flathead to pry open the clear piece from the housing. Be very careful, I cracked the clear piece. (If you took the whole lining off then you can take off the whole clear piece.)

Using your needlenose, get a grip of the amber piece and pull. There are 3 clips that's holding it I think, so it'll take a bit of force. (If you did take out the whole clear piece you'll have to figure out how to get the amber piece out)

Once the amber piece is out, put the clear piece and the housing back together and use the sealant to stick the black lining back on. If you cracked the clear piece, use the sealant to try and fix it.

If you have any questions just reply here.

Its cheaper/more efficient to get the clear corners off ebay for $30 than to risk making your own

Wow this thread is 3 years old? Anyways, I just did this and it turned out so-so. I cracked one of the lenses slightly. I noticed that the drivers side lense came off w/no prob. The passenger side had a very britle edge that wouldn't give..thats where the crack is now. It's not horrible but it's still irritating. Also, the orange lense leaves some orange behind. I used a white out stick to cover up any blemishes on the metalic finish and exposed orange.

IMO, on a scale of 1 to 10, I give this a 6...it'll look good, but it will most likely leave some blemishes — btw, I'd peel off a hundred glass headlight lenses before attempting this again :P

Now I'm debating if I paint them or leave em chrome.

on ebay progrille is seling "euro corner" but they ask $45 for shipping when I click to pay..but in the description it say "$22" so Im asking him why it's not the same price.. $16 for the corner and $45 to ship..that's too expensive I think..

To prevent water build up there's this "U" shaped rubber piece behind the headlight. As long as its pointing downward, you shouldn't have a problem. Corners should work the same way. As for the tail lights, I dont know why you're would build up water. Maybe they also have the rubber piece. If it does, do the same thing...point it downwards and hope that it'll help. BTW, if you have water in your tail lights it should dry out from the heat of the bulbs, it happened to my Corolla altezzas and it dried pretty quick. Anyway, hope this helps.
