I bought used Tokico/Eibachs with the Springs on the struts already. I'm not all that mechanically inclined, and only have two Jacks, but my buddy works at a mechanic's so he's somewhat knowledgeable. My question is to anyone who DIY the Struts/Srpings, Would you reccommend that we attempt to install at least the fronts ourselves, and have his mechanic do the rears? Or should I not risk it and just pay to have them all installed?

I have the exact same situation. I'm pretty in myself and my friend who plan on doing it and all the shops around here want upwards of $500! also, the diagram will be a big help and I would really appreciate a copy of those instructions, please e-mail: ParksR@mfr.usmc.mil

if you can do the fronts, you can do the rears yourself. IMO, the front springs were harder than the rear struts. the only pain with the rear struts is that it's hard to get to b/c you gotta remove the entire backseat and panels.

Quick question... They call the front struts mounts "suspension supports", right?? Just wanna be 100% sure on torque specs. :D

That diagram was very helpful. I took apart the interior today with the help of it. Not hard to take apart the interior, just annoying to have to do so much to get to the bolts. Took me under an hour to disassemble it all.
