Thank you, I appreciate it! Last night I was actually thinking of putting a post up, asking for help with my future neons.

*I want the same color green as my 02 stock radio and speedo/AC cluster. Does anyone know what that shade of green is called?

Also, bassthrive/ Paul What size did you mount under your dash? I really like your blue, don't get me wrong but green is my favorite color and I think it would go along well with the other greens in the car. 8)

I used two 6" mini neons. I got blue not only because I like the color, but because I was planning on making every light inside the car blue. Dome, dash and a/c are easy enough but I didnt think about the fact that you cant replace bulbs in the headunit or the clock. I have no idea if the ignition light and shift gate bulbs are replacable. I think the dash would look nasty with green on blue. Color clashing is not an issue with my lights though because 98% of the time they are off while im driving. I think greens will look great sammy.

Im off to hardwire my radar detector now. Ill have a DIY article up for that soon.

When I get home from vacation I'll upload some pics of my neons. I have the underbody kit, 2 10" neons in Driver and passenger side, 2 15" neons in the rear and 1 20" in the trunk. Nice job BTW

you need a healthy hand that can turn screw driver and unplug plugs. and also two cross screwdriver, one long one and one short one. The dash board lights are 194 bulbs.

Make sure those screw driver fit nicely, dont stripp your bolt or the thread

quick question

Postby bigpow » Fri Oct 24, 2003 1:17 pm

Have you ever try using LED lightpipes?

I'm going for the mod too, thanks to your detailed instruction.

But I'm thinking of those ultra bright LED stripes

Any thoughts or comments?

Just one question...if I were to attempt this, would I need to unhook the battery while messing with the wires and what not? I'm still a n00b. Thanks

Wow, man this is sick,

I have read Streetglow's message board for months, no one ever did anything this nice for any car.

If you want to do some crazy stuff check out this site, wiring to alarms, UBs to the beat of music, multi switchs, kills, relays,

cmeglow.com

one more time Sick site dude Keep it up.

no you dont have to. Just dont short circuit anything. Use any LED to check for live wires and switch-cut lines so you'll know where to attach. For my underseat neons, I installed my own switch (hidden).
