Changing the color of your clock

The display is like 4$ from digikey and a pic processor is like around 3$ (free if you sample from microchip). Then a crystal for the OSC/Clock and some minor stuff. It would run around $30 unless you have supplies allready then it would be cheaper. To make it even better add a dual access accel to the design and you could have

Time
Alarm
Stopwatch
+-Gforces
0-60 Times

Tap the temp line and you could also have a digital coolant/oil temp display. Wouldn't be to hard to make really.

Any chance you could either make a detailed "Tutorial" on how to do this or sell this? I'd sure be interested! -JoeB

Removed the plastic on mine, looks better - though not entirely blue:

That looks great!

Maybe you can retro a piece of clear plastic to protect it.
