If you can turn a screwdriver and work a spray can you can do this job. PM me if you have questions.

Do you guys clean the throttle body while the engine is running because the cleaner I got says to run it while cleaning. I have not heard that being mentioned on postings.

I don't think it's a good idea to clean it with the engine on. Not good to have the engine on without the intake connected.

I dont even think your car will start with the intake tube detached from the throttle body. Consider this, you would have no air filter or MAF operation. Even if you were able to run the engine, spraying the cleaner right into the throttle body would 1) just case the engine to sputter and shut off, 2) clean the grime off the walls of the TB and suck it into your engine.

F the instructions on that can, follow mine.

Did mine yesterday and what a difference. Smoother idle and acceleration. Talk about easy... I could've got one of my little nephews to do it. The sputtering you get when you first turn on the car is a little weird. I guess it's because I've never heard it do that.

seriously its so easy....jiffy lube charges like $90 for that service LOL.

The sputtering is normal, then you blow out white smoke then its all good after that.
