I check my blinker fluid daily. Had some leaks in the past, now my right one is faster than my left. Gonna need a blinker fluid flush here real soon. Thanks for the heads up.

The caliper?
Take it off, paint it your favorite color.

Removing rear package shelf

Postby dareed4 » Sun Oct 08, 2006 8:19 pm

I tried searching, only saw something for a 92 Camry. I got the back seats out no problem, anyone know of a tutorial for removing the rear package shelf in a 00' SE V6 Solara?

Thanks!

Yeah, I don't quite follow, h0rns.

Answering other questions:

Andrew:
Unless they're REALLY bad, all you need to do is wipe some paste-based Mag-Brite or other metal/chrome cleaner on it for 2 minutes and wipe it off... I've continuously waxed and sanded it to no avail, and this worked like magic; I've washed my car many times since and it hasn't come back whereas the wax shining would be gone at the next car wash.

Oh and Tracy, did you by any chance mean the brake rotors?
Image
As you'll kinda see in the picture, the rotor end sticks out a bit from the car. You can remove the rust and paint it if you'd like, but be careful NOT to get any on the silver part (where the brake pads actually contact the rotor). Unless you ARE talking about the central hub.

Dareed4: This should give you an idea. WARNING: You have to practically gut out the back portion of your car to naught to get to the rear shelf. Although these are instructions for installing a rear speaker, it's almost the same thing:
