There were a couple threads about it in this topic a little while ago. They are some weird German bulb or something.

H 4 headlights are found in Europe. H 3 are found on US spec vehicles. HID - High Intensity Discharge - are those Xenon headlights that are superwhite and bright. The Solara has H 3s.

Not true, the first gen Solara has H4 bulbs, and the second gen does not have H3s.

I think they are also H11LL bulb? is H11 and H11LL the same bulbs? I am also looking for a whiter bulb.

H11 = H11LL

LL = Longer Life (or so they say) if they are Sylvania brand.'

However, I don't know the size... I'm just answering the LL question =P

If you want bright white, get "SILVER STARS" they are a cheap alternative to HID
1GR-FE ftw!

Best bulb for the headlights is the Hoen xenonmatch type.
