Look at it this way: we are and always will be the Gen 2 pioneers. Because of our vigilence in reporting defects, the 2nd model year is that much better.

You guys are weird =P

The first year of the vehicle has all buyer that want a new product that no one else has. 2nd year is usually the people that wanted the car, but didn't want to deal with TSB and stuff (not as many tsbs, anyhow).

Did Toyota send you guys an Encore card?

Personally I consider my car very new afterall it's only four months old. Besides there is not much change from the 04 to the 05.

From what I understand, there will be no visual changes. I think the TSBs will be addressed fixing the left drift, sunroof, rattles and whatnot. I don't see any cosmetic changes though for 2005. They may keep the 315 watt stereo from the convertible in the coupe and maybe do the white faces in the sport since tghey screwed that up in '04. Who knows though?
